Extra Help is a program offered by Social Security to help individuals pay for their Medications. When you are getting Extra Help it will coordinate with any Rx plan you have whether through a stand alone Part D Plan or a Medicare Advantage Part C Plan. Extra Help will set your Medicine Copays at $3.95 for Generics and $9.85 for Brands. Depending upon your income level, it may also pay your Part D premium and deductible.
